C - OVERLAPPING ISSUES

An essential exercise for getting the mind used to the flow of thoughts

and words.

Key words - Exploring starting with words.

Purpose - Getting the mind used to flows of thought.

Description - The exercise is carried out in pairs. Participants are placed one in front of the other. Each participant thinks of a topic, even a simple and banal one. Upon the trainer’s signal, the task is to continue talking about one’s topic in front of the other person who will simultaneously be doing the same thing. The exercise is difficult because it involves focusing carefully on a thought and not being distracted or conditioned by the other person. The topic to discuss can very simple and should be expressed out loud in the mother tongue. The pairs can be switched at the discretion of the trainer. Each change of couple will consist in a change of topic on the part of both participants.

Duration - Approximately 15 to 20 minutes.
